They say that the best description of success is to know where the market is going and to get there first.

I am a firm believer that the market more than ever before wants better things and it does not matter as much anymore if the products are domestic or imported. That is the reason why you see a boom increase in the number of imported brands in this market.
我坚信市场比以往任何时候都需要更好的产品,不管是国产还是进口的。这也是为什么你会在市场上看到了进口品牌数量的爆发性增长。
The more knowledgable and more economically powerful consumer wants the best the world has to offer even if the products are not made in China.
更有见识和经济实力的消费者想要最好的产品,市场便会去提供,哪怕不是中国制造的。
And that is one if the main reasons you have to continuos check, benchmark, travel to the places where you can get this information.
这也是为什么要持续不断地了解、调研,到可以获得信息的地方。
We also have another team from Mexico and USA traveling to Italy and Spain next week to check the design firms and companies to see what they are working on and intending to launch in the coming fair in Bologna at the end of September which is just around the corner.

I guess it is what you have to do non stop if you want to be the first, the leader and the innovator.

Many people ask me, our sales team, friends of the industry, competitors, etc., questions like:
How much longer the woods will remain popular?
Will they continue like this for one more year? Two more years?
Is the life of the full polished products on their last months?
Why are the prices of full polished been lowered that much? Is it because they are about to die as a trend?
Is it because just everyone is making them?
很多来自业务团队、同行圈子、竞争对手的不同朋友问我这样的问题:
你觉得木纹还能流行多久?
它们在下一年也保持这样的势头吗?两年呢?
全抛类产品是不是走到头了?
为什么现在全抛产品的价格下降了这么多?是因为这股潮流要熄灭了吗?
I think that these two styles could remain popular for many more years if the following things are done, otherwise they for sure have their days counted:
我认为如果把下面的事情做好,这两类产品将会再流行很多年,反之则时日肯定不多了。
Improve the full polished products in their quality, looks and raw materials used
Use different finishes like super gloss, matte gloss or semi polished
Try different sizes
通过质量、外观和原材料的使用去提升全抛类产品。
使用不同的表面处理如高亮、亚亮或者半抛。
尝试不同的规格。
Again these are just some ideas to keep some lines or styles active and selling
If nothing is done I can assure you that something else may come and replace this completely
再说一遍,这只是让一些类型的产品保持活跃和销售的一些想法。
如果什么事情都不做的话,我可以告诉你一些其它产品迟早会其取而代之。
On a final note, I know that 3D printing is on a very advance stage and may soon rather than later be developed or used for our industry

So keep up with the trends if you do not soon to be obsolete!
