永远不要低估任何人 NEVER UNDERESTIMATE ANYONE EVER

The world keeps changing at a speed no one expected and the drivers of these changes are things nobody could have ever imagined. There are several stories and lessons that are worth sharing with you that will hopefully help you learn more about life, business and become a smarter and wiser person.

“Uber, the world’s largest taxi company owns no vehicles. Facebook, the world’s most popular social media owner creates no content. Alibaba, the most valuable retailer, has no inventory. And Airbnb, the world’s largest accommodation provider, owns no real state. Something interesting is happening”

Uber，世界上最大的出租车公司，没有自己的车辆。 Facebook，世界上最受欢迎的社交媒体，没有自己创造的内容。 阿里巴巴，最有价值的零售商，没有自己的库存。 而Airbnb，全球最大的住宿提供商，没有自己的房产。 有趣的事情正在发生。

 

Let me start by sharing the following three stories: Nokia rejected Android system, Yahoo when was the most popular web browser rejected google and Kodak rejected digital cameras. The lessons to learn from these stories are that you have to accept change and take risks because if you refuse to change over time you can become obsolete.

让我先分享以下三个故事：诺基亚拒绝安卓系统，雅虎在还是最流行的浏览器时拒绝谷歌，柯达拒绝数码相机。从这些故事中可以学到的教训是，你必须接受改变、勇于冒险，因为如果你拒绝改变，渐渐地你会被时代抛弃。

 

Two more stories: Facebook took over Instagram and WhatsApp and Didi took over Uber in Southeast Asia. The lessons to learn from these are the following: Become so big and powerful that your competitors become your allies. When you reach the top position you should work and play smart with the competition and you should never stop innovating.

还有两个故事：Facebook收购了Instagram和WhatsApp，滴滴在东南亚收购了Uber。以下是我们可以从中学到的教训：变得非常强大，以至于你的竞争对手变成了你的盟友。当你到达最高的位置时，你应该在竞争中更好地工作以及聪明地利用竞争，并且永远都不能停止创新。

 

Two more stories: Colonel Sanders founded KFC when he was 65 years of age and Jack Ma who couldn’t get a job at KFC later found Alibaba and retired when he was 55 years of age. The lessons to learn here are that age is only a number and only those who continue to try will succeed.

Last story but no least: Lamborghini was founded as a result of a revenge of the owner of a tractor that was insulted by Enzo Ferrari the founder of the world famous Ferrari Car Brand. The lesson to learn here is to never underestimate anyone ever!

最后但并不是仅有的故事：兰博基尼的创立是因为一辆拖拉机的车主遭到了世界著名汽车品牌法拉利的创始人恩佐·法拉利的侮辱而进行的复仇。从这里学习的教训是，永远不要低估任何人！

The world is a strange place, it can change very fast, surprise you and if you are not ready, prepared and open minded you could get the biggest surprise of your life.

I have seen during this pandemic which is extremely strange and once in a lifetime event how many companies have failed and even close but at the same time how a fewer number of companies capitalized about the situation and not only survived but even exceled during this time.

在这场疫情流行期间，我看到极为奇怪而且百年不遇的是，有多少公司失败甚至倒闭了，但与此同时，又有很少一些公司利用这个情况，不仅幸存甚至在这段时间里胜出了。

 

Times of crisis can be also times of opportunities if we pay attention to details, learn our lessons about things that have happened in the past, continue innovating and always be open minded.

如果我们关注细节，从过去发生的事情里吸取教训，继续创新，始终保持思想开放，危机时刻也可能是机遇的时刻。
