Contrary to what most people think, the International ceramic trends were wide ranging and as always inspired in the natural products: Marbles and Stones, Woods, Cements and Metals and so on. The trends don’t change overnight and every year seem to be adjusting to the consumer needs of the time. Our industry has always based its development on these particular styles and it is very loyal to these different items.
与大多数人的想法相反,国际陶瓷的趋势是广泛的,并且总是受到自然材料的启发:大理石和岩石,木纹,水泥与金属等等。趋势不会在一夜之间发生改变,而每年看来都有在适应当下的消费者需求。我们行业对这些不同的风格类型非常忠诚,并一直在这些特定风格的基础上发展。
What most people don’t understand is how to pay attention to the little things that make the difference every year and every time we all attend CERSAIE in Bologna which is always the show that we all must go and see every year if your business is related to ceramic tile.
只要是和陶瓷行业生意有关的人,每年都应该参加博洛尼亚的CERSAIE展会,我们是每年都要去看的。但是大多数人不懂的是如何看到那些带来影响的细节。
And this year was not the exception, but one particular thing I noticed was that many people mentioned that there was nothing special this year at the fair even many foreigner friends from Spain, Italy and USA that I saw. It was quite surprising for me to hear this, because these people have been in the industry for many years. But I understood that there are many things that are quite obvious to see and those are the things everyone remembers and unfortunately people believe that those things are the trends and while partially it may be true it is by far not the case. But in our industry it is exactly what happens; I made in my recent trends presentation a comment and prediction that one particular white marble style was going to be reproduced, or copied by hundreds of Chinese companies very soon because it was the white marble style seen at multiple Italian brands.I wouldn’t be surprised at all if I even see it during CERAMBATH presented and even installed in some booths or brand headquarters showrooms.
今年也不例外,但我发现的一件事情就是很多人都说今年展会上没有什么特别的,甚至我遇到的来自西班牙、意大利和美国的外国朋友也这么认为。听到这个,我感到非常惊讶,因为这些人已经从事这个行业很多年了。我知道很多东西是显而易见以及每个人容易记住的,不幸的是人们以为这些就是趋势了,可能有一部分是真的,但目前来看事实并非如此。而在我们行业事情就是这样发生的。我最近的趋势报告中写到并预测了一种特殊的白色大理石风格将会很快被众多中国企业模仿或复制,因为在展会上的多家意大利品牌都看到。如果在陶博会期间看到它安装在一些品牌的展位或总部展厅中,我不会感到惊讶。

It is always good to be the first company to offer the latest innovation but unfortunately it always comes with a price that we are willing to pay anytime!
