美国经济是否已经全面复苏?有什么信号?对我们行业有什么影响?
About 3 weeks ago we had the opportunity to talk to our people that are in charge of the company in USA and we received first-hand information of the status of the economy in USA especially when it relates to the ceramic industry.
大概3周前,我们有机会与美国公司的负责人交谈,同时我们收到了关于美国经济的第一手资料,它跟我们的陶瓷行业息息相关。
And the feedback was very promising!

First of all and not necessarily in order of importance the Coverings show was busy, more companies were present from the international markets and the manufacturers and distributors were happy with the results of the fair.
首先但并不是最重要的,美国Coverings展会非常忙碌,很多的公司从国际市场中出现,制造者和经销商对本次的展会结果也非常满意。
Second which was very good to hear, the next show will be in the windy City of Chicago, and guess what? The show spaces have been already SOLD OUT! I believe this is a great sign that the economy is back on its feet and that all the manufacturers and distributors are aware of this and that is the reason why they are participating so that they do not miss a piece of the action. When the COVERINGS ceramic convention fair is done in Chicago it gives the show a different feeling. Chicago is a great city with more things to do and see than Orlando. To me Orlando is more for family tourism and Chicago is more for adults and business. There are more restaurants, historical places, museums, shopping and theaters. And Chicago is also the capital city of architectural firms.

Third there are a few Italian Brands that are opening manufacturing facilities in the USA this year and next year. What better sign do you need than this? Do they know something we don’t? We have also been approached by a European company wanting to partner up with us and open a factory in USA.
第三,有几个意大利品牌,今年和明年在美国开设生产线。还有什么比这个消息更好?是不是他们知道一些我们不知道的?我们也正在与一家想与我们在美国开设工厂的欧洲公司洽谈。
Last, the numbers do not lie. The economic indicators and predictions for new housing starts and sales are really good. The sales growth of new family homes from 2013 to 2014 was 2% but it is estimated that the growth from 2014 to 2015 will be an amazing 25%. And the growth of new housing starts from 2013 to 2014 were 7.6% and the estimated growth from 2014 to 2015 will be somewhere around 15%.
最后,数字是不会说谎的。经济指数和预测新房开工率和销售真的很好。2013年~2014年,新房销售增长2%,但是据估计,2014~2015年,将会惊人增长25%。此外,2013~2014年的新房开工率增长7.6%,而估计2014~2015年将会大概增长15%。
