In just a little over two weeks we are going to have once again the 115th edition of the Canton Fair and the 23rd China International Ceramic & Bathroom Fair in Foshan.
还有两个多礼拜第115广交会和在佛山举办的第23届中国陶瓷&卫浴展即将来临。
Many of the companies have booths in Canton Fair while many more hold their expositions in Foshan.
很多公司在广交会参展,更多的人仍然选择在佛山陶博会露面。
What new will we be able to see this year? What exciting new things, products, sizes, styles will dominate or will be presented in these fairs. Will they be similar in any way to the products that were presented just a few weeks back in CEVISAMA in Spain or in CERSAIE in Italy?
今年我们能够看到哪些新东西呢?哪些新产品、新规格以及新风格将在展会上亮相或风靡呢?它们会和前段时间西班牙CEVISAMA展或者意大利CERSAIE展看到的产品相近吗?
Who will have the most interesting product proposals? Which new technologies in product manufacturing will be shown? What interesting new product applications will we be able to see?
谁能够策划出最新奇的产品方案?哪些新技术将会展示?新的产品应用方案又将会如何呈现?
Larger wood planks of 120 cm in length, more slim tiles of 5mm and larger sizes of 180 cm or bigger, more new marbles or stones, New finishes, new raw material applications or colors, new ink applications or effects?
会看到1.2米长度的木纹、更薄的5mm的瓷砖、1.8米甚至更大的规格,更多新的仿大理石、仿石产品,新的表面处理,新的原料应用,新的颜色,新的墨水应用和效果吗?
We will have answers to all of the questions above pretty soon! But you should expect to see more of the stuff that I just mentioned above.

Some of the things I have noticed this year is that the companies are paying more attention to the design aspect of their products and buying and manufacturing products with more expensive and larger designs, which in my opinion is the right thing to do even though many companies or most companies are not willing to spend the money in this because they see it as unnecessary.
今年我注意到很多企业对产品的设计越来越关注,它们在生产或者采购产品时对设计的投入更大。我很认同这样的做法。当然了,仍旧有很多公司觉得没有必要而不愿意为这此花钱。
At the end of the day the question that you should ask yourself is: How do I get noticed if the ocean is so big and it has so many fish? How can I be on top of the food chain? How do I become a whale, or a shark or a dolphin and not just another fish that will never be noticed and that eventually would be eaten by the bigger predators?
最后,你将会问自己这样的问题:如果这片海洋是如此辽阔,有如此多的鱼,我怎样才能得到关注? 我要怎样才能达到食物链的顶端?我要成为一条鲸鱼,一条鲨鱼,一条海豚,还是一条永远得不到关注、最终被大鱼吃掉的小鱼呢?
If you think that the price of your products is the answer then your days are counted. And unfortunately many companies just pay attention to this aspect or variable. You should pay immediate attention to quality, design, service, style, technology, communication. Then you will prevail and get noticed. Your name or the name of your company will be mentioned more and get noticed. Would you like to be the cheapest car ever produced in the world or the Benz of the industry. Do you know the name or brand of the cheapest car in the world? I bet you do not know it. But I bet you know the other name quality brands like Porche, Ferrari, BMW, Audi right? And who does not want to own one of those?
如果将价格作为这个问题的最终答案,那这个企业就没多少前景了。很不幸的是很多公司只关注这个层面。质量,设计,服务,风格,技术,沟通才应该是关注的重点,才能以此建立优势,并得到同行的关注。打个比喻,你希望成为世界上最便宜的汽车生产商呢,还是成为奔驰这样的品牌。你是否知道世界上最便宜的车的名字?我敢打赌你不知道。但你绝对知道保时捷,法拉利,宝马,奥迪这些品牌,对吗?而且谁不想拥有这些品牌呢?
